In the presence of public health emergencies, RAZR works collaboratively with other public health emergency partners without duplication in response to such crises. RAZR’s targeted approach is based on the latest available statistical models for understanding the prevalence, incidence, and spread of diseases throughout the nation. RAZR develops agile teams able to recognize emerging needs and trends occurring through rapid-cycle data collection and analysis that will allow for immediate corrective action at the hospital level.

RAZR develops agile teams able to recognize emerging needs and trends occurring through rapid cycle data collection and analysis that will allow for immediate corrective action at the hospital level.
Area of focus includes system level capacity for rapid response and hospital self-assessments for managing emergencies (e.g. Comprehensive Hospital Preparedness Checklist for Coronavirus Disease 2019).
Targeted Aproach
RAZR’s targeted approach is based on the latest available statistical models for understanding the prevalence, incidence and spread of diseases throughout the nation.
Area of focus includes contact tracing, surveillance, patient flow, and dissemination and uptake of evidence-based and emerging best practices.
Stakeholders Engagement
RAZR engages hospitals for intervention based on CMS survey information, the CDC’s guidance or other models available.
Support includes coordination with state, and local governments as well as State and Federal public health agencies to ensure proper infection control, tracking of active and pending cases.
